ARCHROMA — The specialty chemicals provider in Pratteln, Switzerland, named Mark Garrett interim CEO. Current CEO Heike van de Kerkhof is stepping down.

ASAHI/AMERICA INC. — The corrosion-resistant thermoplastic fluid flow equipment provider in Lawrence, Mass., named Jessica Chase to its technical field service team and Shane McDaniel business development manager team leader.

AVERY DENNISON CORP. — The maker of self-adhesive products in Mentor, Ohio, named Steve Flannery senior vice president and general manager, Europe/Middle East/North Africa, of its newly formed materials group, succeeding Hassan Rmaile, who was named president of the group.

BOREALIS A/S — The resin maker in Lyngby, Denmark, named Daniel Turnheim chief financial officer, effective June 1, succeeding Mark Tonkens, who is leaving the company.

CARPET AMERICA RECOVERY EFFORT — Joe Yarbrough, president of the Carpet and Rug Institute, and Wyatt Rollins, of Shaw Industries Group Inc., were named winners of the nonprofit group's Persons of the Year awards.
